JOB DESCRIPTION

GBSI is seeking an experienced SAP PP Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP-PI to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of production planning and process manufacturing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PP-PI, Batch Management, MRP, Variant Configuration, Shop Floor Execution, Process Orders, Production Campaigns, Master Data, Demand Management, Long-Term Planning, Engineering Change Management, and Sales & Operations Planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA PP-PI solutions to enhance production planning and process integration.
- Configure and optimize PP-Batch Management to support accurate and efficient batch processing.
- Provide functional expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to streamline inventory management and procurement processes.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of Variant Configuration to support customized product offerings.
- Facilitate shop floor execution processes to ensure smooth production operations and real-time data visibility.




- Manage production campaigns to optimize resource allocation and achieve production targets.
- Execute and monitor process orders to ensure timely production, delivery, and quality requirements.
- Maintain and improve SAP PP master data integrity to support accurate reporting and business decision-making.
- Implement long-term production planning strategies aligned with organizational production capabilities and business objectives.
- Enhance demand management processes to improve forecasting and meet customer requirements.
- Support Engineering Change Management processes to ensure seamless production transitions and minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) teams to align production plans and schedules with market demand.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PP and PP-PI.
- Extensive experience in Production Planning and Process Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of MRP and production planning processes.
- Hands-on experience with Batch Management.
- Experience with Process Orders and production execution.
- Strong understanding of Shop Floor Execution.




- Experience with Variant Configuration in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Production Campaign Management.
- Strong understanding of SAP PP Master Data, including materials, BOMs, work centers, routings, and production versions.
- Experience with Demand Management and forecasting processes.
- Experience with Long-Term Planning (LTP).
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Management.
- Experience working with S&OP; / Sales and Operations Planning processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process mapping skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
