Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an Integration Engineer to build and maintain reliable integration services using Java 17+ and Python 3.11+. The role will involve Spring Boot/FastAPI development, APIs, messaging, databases, Docker, CI/CD, and observability while working closely with senior engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Develop REST APIs and integration services using Spring Boot or FastAPI, including validation, error handling, and pagination.
. Develop Python services using FastAPI, async/await, Pydantic, and async httpx.
. Build RabbitMQ/SQS producers and consumers with retries and dead-letter handling.
. Implement API security using Spring Security, JWT, role-based access, and FastAPI security.
. Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit 5, Mockito, pytest, and Testcontainers.
. Containerize services using Docker and support deployments through Jenkins.
. Follow Git/Bitbucket PR workflows and contribute to code reviews.
. Implement structured logging and tracing using ELK/Kibana and Zipkin.
. Work with AWS environments and troubleshoot integration issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
. Strong Core Java knowledge including OOP,



collections, streams, exceptions, concurrency basics, and Java 17 features.
. Hands-on Spring Boot experience with REST, Data JPA, validation, profiles, and @ControllerAdvice.
. Familiarity with Spring Security, JWT, and role-based access.
. Hands-on Python experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, async/await, and type hints.
. Understanding of microservices, API Gateway, service discovery, circuit breakers, and sync vs. async communication.
. Positive knowledge of REST/HTTP, JSON, idempotency, and OAuth2/JWT basics.
. Hands-on SQL with PostgreSQL/MySQL, including joins, indexes, and transactions.
. Hands-on Git/Bitbucket experience.
. Familiarity with Docker, Dockerfile, and Docker Compose.

GOOD TO HAVE:
. RabbitMQ/SQS and async Python microservices.
. Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
. AWS: EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda.
. Kibana and Zipkin.
. SOAP/XML, CSV, and SFTP integrations.
. Webhook security using HMAC.
. Flyway/Liquibase, Alembic, and Redis.
. SonarQube and dependency scanning.
