Design Engineer

with strong

SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills , good attention to detail, and a professional attitude towards work.This role is suitable for someone who wants to work on real projects, take responsibility, improve their design skills, and grow long-term in mechanical design.

Experience Required

3–5 years of practical experience in SolidWorks and AutoCADExperience in fabrication, sheet metal, weldments, mechanical design, or similar industry will be preferred

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per monthSalary will depend on skills, experience, and practical test performanceYearly salary review based on performance, skills, responsibility, and consistency

Role & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work on:3D part modelling and assemblies in SolidWorksWeldment and fabrication modelsSheet metal componentsManufacturing and fabrication drawingsGeneral arrangement drawingsAutoCAD 2D drafting and layout workUpdating and cleaning up AutoCAD drawings received from clientsPreparing and revising technical drawings based on markups and client commentsBOMs and drawing documentationUpdating existing models, drawings, templates, and project filesUnderstanding client markups, comments, and revision instructionsCoordinating internally to complete work accurately and on time

Required Technical Skills





The candidate should have good working knowledge of:SolidWorks part modellingSolidWorks assemblies and assembly matesSolidWorks weldmentsSolidWorks sheet metalSolidWorks drawing detailingAutoCAD 2D draftingAutoCAD layout preparationAutoCAD drawing cleanup and revisionsManufacturing drawingsFabrication drawingsBOM tablesSheet formats and drawing templatesBasic understanding of GD&T; will be preferredGood eye for detail in both modelling and drafting

Communication Skills

Since we work with overseas clients, the candidate should be comfortable with:Understanding client emails and instructions in EnglishBasic spoken EnglishProfessional email writingClear communication within the teamAsking the right questions when instructions are not explicit
