HR Executive / HR Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and people-oriented HR professional to join our growing software company. The HR will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, onboarding, performance management, HR policies, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment and should be able to work closely with management, technical teams, and employees.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Hiring

- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from job requirement to employee joining.
- Understand hiring requirements from technical and non-technical teams.
- Prepare and publish job descriptions on relevant job portals and recruitment platforms.
- Source and screen candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate technical/management interviews.
- Manage salary discussions, offer letters, and joining formalities.
- Maintain an active talent pipeline for future requirements.
- Build a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Employee Onboarding

- Manage joining formalities and employee documentation.
- Conduct employee induction and orientation programs.
- Introduce new employees to company policies, culture, teams, and processes.
- Coordinate with IT and administration teams to ensure employees receive required access and equipment.
- Ensure employee records are accurately maintained.

HR Operations

- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and personnel files.
- Manage HR documentation and HRMS/database updates.
- Prepare HR reports related to headcount, attendance, recruitment, attrition, and employee status.
- Coordinate with finance/payroll teams for monthly payroll inputs.
- Maintain and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies, leave, attendance, benefits, and other HR matters.

Employee Engagement & Relations

- Maintain positive relationships with employees and management.




- Address employee concerns and grievances professionally and confidentially.
- Organize employee engagement activities, celebrations, team events, and recognition programs.
- Conduct employee feedback and satisfaction initiatives.
- Help promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Performance Management

- Coordinate employee performance review and appraisal processes.
- Assist managers in setting employee goals and performance expectations.
- Track performance review schedules and documentation.
- Support managers in handling performance-related concerns.
- Assist in developing employee career-development and training initiatives.

Learning & Development

- Identify employee training requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Support employee development and career-growth initiatives.

HR Policies & Compliance

- Implement and maintain company HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure HR practices follow applicable employment laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain required employee documentation and records.
- Assist management with disciplinary procedures when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

Exit Management

- Manage resignation and employee exit procedures.
- Conduct exit interviews and document employee feedback.
- Coordinate clearance and handover processes.
- Ensure exit documentation and final HR formalities are completed.
- Analyze employee attrition and identify recurring issues.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
- 0–2 years of HR experience, preferably in a software, IT, SaaS, or technology company.
- Good understanding of recruitment and HR operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and HRMS tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience recruiting software developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, UI/UX professionals, and other technology roles.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growing software company.
- Knowledge of HR analytics and reporting.
- Familiarity with payroll and attendance systems.
- Knowledge of applicable employment and statutory requirements.
- Strong interviewing and candidate-screening skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
