Stores Assistant

Location: Virugambakkam, Chennai
Position: Stores Assistant
Salary: ₹15,000 per month
Benefits: PF & ESI applicable
Weekly Off: Sunday only
Qualification: No degree required (minimum qualification as per company norms, e.g., 10th/12th pass)
Job Responsibilities:
- Receiving, verifying, and recording incoming stock/materials
- Maintaining proper stock records and inventory registers
- Issuing materials as per requisition/indent
- Arranging and storing materials systematically in the store
- Conducting periodic stock checks and reporting discrepancies
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store area
- Coordinating with the purchase/production department as required
- Assisting in loading/unloading of goods
Skills Required:
- Basic reading, writing, and counting skills
- Physically fit for stock handling and lifting
- Honest, disciplined, and punctual
