Job Title

Solar Technician – Installation & Service

Job Summary

K2S Solar Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and hardworking Solar Technician to support the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of solar power systems for residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

- Install and maintain rooftop solar PV systems.
- Perform solar panel mounting and installation work.
- Install and connect solar inverters, cables, DBs, and related electrical components.
- Carry out DC and AC electrical connections as per safety standards.
- Assist with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and rectify electrical and solar system faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance and service visits.
- Check solar system performance and identify issues affecting generation.
- Follow approved installation procedures and electrical safety practices.
- Coordinate with the site supervisor, engineers, and project team.
- Maintain proper tools, equipment, and installation materials.
- Complete assigned installation and service work within scheduled timelines.
- Follow all company safety rules and site requirements.

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in solar installation, electrical work,



or maintenance preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications can also apply.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and safety.
- Knowledge of solar panels, inverters, cables, and protection devices is an advantage.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
