Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead OpenText Documentum & xCP Specialist to design, build, and configure robust backend and frontend enterprise content management (ECM) applications. The ideal candidate will possess end-to-end expertise across OpenText Documentum platforms—specifically with xCP, D2, and InfoArchive—and bring strong competency in system integration, database management, and hands-on software development across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Software Development: Architect, design, and write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code for enterprise software applications and web interfaces built on the OpenText platform.

- Platform Configuration: Configure and extend OpenText Documentum core server components, custom UI models, process workflows, and business logic using Documentum tools and developer frameworks.

- Database & Integration: Interface Documentum applications with underlying database technology using standard SQL queries, relational database models, and object query tools (DQL/DFC).

- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform deep-dive technical debugging, error analysis, performance tuning, and issue resolution to ensure overall software stability and reliability.

- Collaboration & Planning: Partner with cross-functional teams, platform architects, and project stakeholders to refine system design, plan project deliverables, and execute technical roadmaps.





- Technical Documentation: Author and preserve clear, comprehensive technical design documents, REST API specifications, system architecture designs, and end-user operational manuals.

Technical Skills & QualificationsCore Documentum Capabilities

- Core Administration & Development: Content Server, JMS, ACS, Repository Management, Thumbnail Server, DFC API, DQL, REST API, Composer, BOF (Business Object Framework), and Job Scheduling.

- Search, Rendering & Security Engines: xPlore, Brava, ADTS, OTDS, CSSAP, ASSAP.

Documentum xCP & D2 Competencies

- xCP Capabilities: Hands-on proficiency with xCP Designer, xDA deployment, process templates, Java Services, Query models, and workflow designs.

- D2 Capabilities: Experience in D2 Configuration & Customization, D2FS, C2/O2 modules, and D2 Workflows.

InfoArchive Capabilities

- IA Competencies: InfoArchive Configurations, Retention & Holding policies, custom jobs, ingest/export connectors, Postgres DB, PGAdmin development, Search Forms, REST API integrations, and export customizations.

Infrastructure, Middleware & Tools

- Application Servers & OS: Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, Linux Shell scripting.

- Development & Debugging Tools: PostMan, DqMan, Eclipse, Git / version control systems.

Experience & Requirements

- Total Experience: 8+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) using OpenText Documentum products.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical field.

- Certifications (Preferred): OpenText Documentum, xCP, or InfoArchive Qualified / Expert certifications.
