Qualifications & Experience

- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in vendor management within the Engineering/Components domain
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including CNC turning, grinding, milling, jig boring, and hardening
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

- Vendor Management:

- Proactively identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers for materials and services
- Assess vendor capabilities, quality standards, and production capacity
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance on quality, cost, delivery, and service

- Negotiation & Cost Optimization:

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules

- Collaboration & Communication:

- Robust coordination skills with both internal teams and external vendors
- Effective communication to align expectations and resolve issues promptly

- Technical & Digital Skills:

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
