SAP ABAP HANA Developer

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP HANA Developer to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ABAP solutions tailored to the SAP HANA platform. This position demands a deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem, with a specific focus on optimizing performance and ensuring seamless integration across modules. The individual will play a critical part in driving technical innovation, resolving complex system issues, and facilitating smooth transitions during major implementation projects. As a key technical resource, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical specifications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that support our organization's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop custom forms utilizing Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAPscript to meet specific business reporting needs.

- Execute and troubleshoot SAP Notes to maintain system integrity and apply necessary patches.

- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Change Requests, including planning, implementation, and oversight of transition projects.

- Utilize Solution Manager (SolMan) to handle Transport Requests efficiently, ensuring smooth movement of code between development, quality, and production environments.

- Conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis to diagnose and resolve complex technical errors and system anomalies.

- Serve as the primary technical liaison for client interactions,



ensuring clear communication of technical concepts and project status.

- Engineer scalable and effective code using core SAP ABAP principles and Object-Oriented ABAP methodologies.

- Leverage SAP ABAP HANA capabilities to optimize data processing and application performance on the in-memory database.

- Administer and configure SAP Workflow systems to automate business processes effectively.

- Perform advanced debugging and testing of workflow logic to ensure reliability and accuracy.

- Provide technical support and integration expertise related to SAP MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules.

RequirementsRequirements:

- Experience: 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Education: Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Technical Proficiency:
- Extensive expertise in Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAPscript.

- Proven track record in implementing SAP Notes and managing system updates.

- Strong command of Change Request management and project transition protocols.

- Proficiency in managing Transport Requests via Solution Manager.

- Advanced skills in Root Cause Analysis and system troubleshooting.

- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.

- Solid foundation in Object-Oriented ABAP programming.

- Specialized knowledge in SAP ABAP HANA development and optimization.

- Experience in SAP Workflow administration and debugging.

- Familiarity with the functional areas of SAP MM, FI, and SD.

- Salary Expectation: ₹10-13 LPA.
