We are seeking an accomplished Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our critical IT services ecosystem. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated pipelines for creating machine images and managing infrastructure configurations using tools like AMI Builder.
- Design and oversee the deployment of high-availability database solutions, with a specific focus on PostgreSQL performance and integrity.
- Implement rigorous security protocols for Transport Layer Security (TLS), including the management of cryptographic secrets and adherence to compliance standards.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, primarily through Terraform, to provision and manage cloud resources consistently.
- Write and maintain effective scripts in Python and Bash to automate complex operational tasks and streamline workflows.
- Orchestrate continuous integration and deployment processes using GitHub Actions and enforce version control best practices via GitFlow.
- Drive the adoption of comprehensive infrastructure automation strategies to enhance system reliability and reduce manual intervention.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure the platform remains resilient against emerging threats.
RequirementsRequirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field within the IT Services sector.
- Proven expertise in building and managing AMI images and cloud infrastructure components.
- Strong proficiency in administering PostgreSQL databases in production environments.
- Deep knowledge of TLS implementation, secret management tools, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Advanced skills in Terraform for defining and provisioning infrastructure resources.
- Hands-on experience with Python and Bash scripting for automation and tool development.
- Demonstrated ability to configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitFlow workflows.
