Duties and responsibilities:

Financial accounting:

- Assist with the monthly profit and loss for business units including balance sheet reports
- Assist with quarterly and annual statements by assembling data




- Assist with state and federal tax filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings
- Assist with cash flow statements and controlling expenditure and cash flow, year end accounts and statutory accounts
- Assist with annual statutory external financial audits.
- Responds to financial enquiries for both internal and external stakeholders by gathering, analysing, summarising and interpreting data.
- Updates job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in skilled organisations
- Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports
- Provides financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.
- Support Credit Controller with cash collections in ANZ. Work with clients to resolve any invoice queries.
- Accounts Payable, ownership of process, entering invoicing into each business and scheduling payment runs

Reporting and Analysis:

- Assist with weekly/monthly dashboard production on candidate and client lifecycle

Assist with production and creation of the monthly Board Report
Education and Qualification:

Essential:

- A Bachelor degree or Diploma in Accounting from a reputable higher education institution.
Work Experience and Attributes:

Essential:





- Strong communicator and excellent listener
- Intermediate relationship building skills
- Demonstrated experience within a fast moving, forward thinking and customer-led organisation
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities
- PC literate Excel, Word, Outlook, Outlook Diary Management.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of Xero and Eclipse
- Experience/ understanding of recruitment
