Position: Project Engineer – Passive Fire Protection Key Responsibilities:
Plan, supervise and execute firestop and passive fire protection works.
Manage site manpower, materials, tools and daily work targets.
Coordinate with civil, MEP, electrical and HVAC contractors for work fronts.
Review drawings and identify/measure service penetrations and openings.
Supervise installation of firestop sealants, mortar, blocks, collars, wraps, coatings, boards and other approved systems.
Ensure execution as per approved drawings, manufacturer's tested systems, project specifications and applicable NBC/standards.
Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors for inspection and approvals.
Prepare DPR, progress trackers, photographs, measurements and work completion records.
Support JMR/MB, quantity reconciliation and billing documentation.
Monitor quality, safety,



productivity and project timelines.
Identify site constraints and coordinate timely resolution.
Support final inspection, documentation, certification and project handover. Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil, Mechanical or Fire & Safety Engineering. Experience: 2–5 years in Passive Fire Protection, Firestop, Fire & Safety, MEP or construction project execution. Skills: Site execution, manpower management, drawing reading, BOQ/quantity calculation, MS Excel, client coordination, documentation and basic knowledge of NBC/firestop systems. Preferred: Experience with Hilti, 3M, Sika, Promat or similar firestop systems. Workplace: Shapara, Patia, Jamnagar Salary: 15000 to 20000
