Interview Process: 3 Virtual Rounds About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer – Cloud Platform to join the Cloud Platform Engineering team. The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, securing, and supporting cloud, enterprise, corporate, server, and data center network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in AWS networking, enterprise networking, hybrid-cloud connectivity, network security, Terraform/IaC, automation, and production troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities 1. Cloud Network Engineering Design and maintain scalable and highly available cloud network architectures. Manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet Gateways, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, load balancers, DNS, and security controls. Support multi-account, multi-region, and multi-cloud environments. Develop standardized and reusable cloud networking patterns. 2. Enterprise & Corporate Networking Design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure. Manage VLANs, routing, switching, wireless, VPNs, firewalls, proxies, and network access controls. Establish secure connectivity between corporate offices, data centers, and cloud environments. Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and utilization. 3. Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Connectivity Manage connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and AWS, GCP, and OCI. Work with AWS Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Transit Gateway, GCP Cloud Interconnect/Cloud VPN, and OCI FastConnect/VPN.



Design resilient hybrid and cross-cloud network architectures. Troubleshoot end-to-end connectivity issues across cloud and on-premises environments. 4. Network Architecture Create network architecture and design documentation. Develop reference architectures and reusable network patterns. Design IP addressing, subnetting, routing, DNS, segmentation, and traffic-management strategies. Participate in architecture reviews and technical discussions. 5. Network Security Implement secure-by-default cloud and enterprise network architectures. Manage Security Groups, Network ACLs, cloud firewalls, WAFs, firewall policies, private endpoints, and network segmentation. Support Zero Trust initiatives and security remediation activities. Ensure secure network communication using TLS/SSL and encryption. 6. Infrastructure as Code & Automation Develop and maintain network infrastructure using Terraform / IaC. Build reusable Terraform modules for network provisioning. Automate network configuration, validation, compliance checks, and operational tasks. Develop scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies. Support CI/CD-based infrastructure deployment. 7. Monitoring & Observability Monitor network latency, throughput, packet loss, DNS performance, VPN connectivity, load balancers, and network utilization. Work with tools such as Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, network telemetry, and flow logs. Develop dashboards, alerts, and proactive monitoring mechanisms. 8. Production Support & Incident Management Provide L3 support for complex network, cloud, server, and data center issues. Troubleshoot outages, routing/DNS failures,



firewall and VPN issues, load-balancing problems, and cloud connectivity issues. Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions. Participate in incident response, on-call/shift rotations, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience in cloud and enterprise networking. Strong production experience with AWS Networking; GCP and OCI experience is preferred. Strong experience with LAN/WAN and data center networking. Strong knowledge of: TCP/IP DNS & DHCP Routing & Switching BGP & OSPF VPN & NAT Firewalls & Proxies Load Balancing TLS/SSL Network Segmentation Strong hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code. Strong scripting/automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar. Experience with hybrid-cloud and enterprise connectivity. Strong understanding of network security principles. Experience troubleshooting complex production infrastructure issues. Experience working with Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Security, Systems, and Application Engineering teams. Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Technologies Cloud: AWS, GCP, OCI
