About the Internship

We are looking for an Equity Research Analyst Intern who is passionate about the stock market, listed companies, business analysis and financial markets.

This internship will provide practical exposure to equity research, company analysis, financial statement analysis, sector research, market analysis, Excel-based data analysis and preparation of equity research reports.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in understanding businesses, analysing companies, studying financial performance and identifying important trends in the stock market.

This is a research-focused role and not a sales position.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct research on listed companies, equity markets, sectors and industries.
- Analyse company business models, products, management and competitive positioning.
- Study quarterly and annual financial results of listed companies.
- Analyse Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements and Cash Flow Statements.
- Track key corporate announcements, earnings results and market developments.
- Conduct sector and industry research to understand market opportunities and trends.
- Compare companies with their competitors and industry peers.
- Calculate and analyse important financial ratios and performance indicators.
- Assist in conducting fundamental analysis of companies.
- Study historical financial performance and growth trends of companies.
- Track stock price movements and important developments affecting companies and sectors.
- Collect, organise and analyse financial and market-related data.
- Prepare Excel-based reports, dashboards and financial analysis.




- Assist in preparing company research reports and investment research presentations.
- Prepare daily and weekly equity market research updates.
- Use reliable financial sources to collect and verify company-related information.
- Maintain research databases and regularly update financial information.
- Identify trends, opportunities and important insights from financial data.
- Support senior team members in various equity research and financial analysis projects.

Educational Qualification

- Students pursuing B.Com, BAF, BMS, BFM, MBA Finance, CFA, CA or other Finance-related courses.
- Fresh graduates interested in Equity Research and Financial Analysis.
- Candidates looking to build a career in Equity Research, Investment Research, Financial Analysis, Portfolio Research or Capital Markets.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of experience may apply.
- A strong academic background in Finance, Commerce, Economics or related fields is preferred.

Freshers with strong stock-market knowledge and excellent analytical skills may also apply.
