Position: Associate Manager Claims

Location: Malad, Mumbai

Experience: 5-6 Years

Job Responsibilities

- Process and assess Life Insurance Claims, ensuring accuracy and timely closure within TAT.
- Handle Death Claims or Medical Claims, including document and medical record assessment.
- Ensure compliance with policy terms, regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with Underwriting, RCU, Legal and Medical teams for claim assessment and investigations.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud, misrepresentation and non-disclosure cases.
- Prepare and maintain Claims MIS, reports and case records.
- Handle claim queries and ensure timely resolution of pending cases.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5 to 6+ years of overall experience in Life Insurance.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Life Insurance Claims.




- Mandatory: Death Claims and/or Medical Claims experience.
- Solid understanding of claim assessment, processing and admissibility.
- Exposure to claim investigation, fraud identification and TAT/MIS will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Requirement

Candidates must have relevant Life Insurance Claims experience, specifically in Death or Medical Claims. Candidates with only General Insurance Claims, Policy Servicing, Customer Service or generic Insurance Operations experience will not be considered.
