Seeking an experienced legal skilled to manage end-to-end legal support for the Construction Finance portfolio, including documentation, due diligence, stressed asset transactions, and participation in IBC processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and negotiate loan & security documents: Facility Agreements, Escrow Agreements, Mortgage Deeds, Hypothecation, Pledge, Security Trustee Agreements, etc.
- Review title due diligence reports and provide independent legal risk assessment.
- Handle documentation for stressed asset resolution, including assignment agreements and trust deeds.
- Participate in Committee of Creditors (CoC) and evaluate Resolution Plans under IBC.
- Attend Joint Lenders’ Meetings (JLMs) and provide legal input.
- Support regulatory investigations (EOW,
ED, MCA, etc.) and ensure compliance.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Qualification: LLB / LLM
- Experience: 10 + years in NBFC/ Banking /Law Firms (Construction or Real Estate Finance preferred)
