Job Summary

The AI Tech Lead will establish and lead SITA for Aircrafts AI capability by building a high-performing team, delivering practical AI solutions, and driving AI adoption across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise, people leadership, and business engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities and convert them into scalable, production-ready solutions that deliver measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, and automation. As a key leader in the technology organization, you will drive the development of AI agents, copilots, automation solutions, and reusable AI capabilities while ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for security, governance, reliability, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

- AI Delivery & Adoption: Partner with business teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases with clear business value. Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI agents, copilots, and automation solutions. Drive successful adoption of AI solutions across teams and functions. Track and communicate AI usage, adoption, productivity gains, and business outcomes. Promote successful AI implementations and encourage reuse across the organization.
- Technical Leadership: Remain hands-on with AI technologies and contribute directly to solution architecture and development. Guide the team in building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and operating AI solutions. Support the resolution of complex technical and production issues.



Establish engineering best practices for AI development, deployment, monitoring, and support. Create reusable AI frameworks, components, and accelerators that can be leveraged across multiple initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing AI engineering team. Mentor, coach, and support the growth of team members. Define required skills, capabilities, and development plans for AI practitioners. Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, innovation, experimentation, and delivery. Encourage end-to-end accountability for AI solutions and business outcomes.
- Governance & Operations: Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Data, Platform, and Governance teams to enable responsible AI adoption. Ensure AI solutions comply with enterprise security, governance, and data management standards. Establish operational support and monitoring for production AI systems. Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective.

Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, technology, automation, or related technical fields.
- 3-5 years of experience working with AI, Generative AI, AI automation,



AI agents, copilots, LLMs, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Proven hands-on technical leadership experience in leading and developing technical teams.
- Robust hands-on expertise delivering AI solutions from proof of concept through to production deployment.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, APIs, DevOps practices, and enterprise production environments.
- Strong understanding of AI security, governance, data management, and responsible AI principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through technology initiatives.
- Experience establishing or scaling an AI or Generative AI capability from the ground up.
- Experience implementing enterprise AI assistants, copilots, or intelligent agents.
- Experience integrating AI solutions into business processes and enterprise platforms.
- Background in automation, DevOps, IT operations, or service management.
- Experience within aviation or other operationally intensive industries.

- Nice to have Spanish and/or French language skills are an advantage.
