About the Role

MAKK Industries is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Head to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the fashion/apparel business. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination between production, sourcing, quality, inventory, logistics, sales and other departments while maintaining quality, timelines and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee complete day-to-day operational activities of the organization.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor fashion/apparel production as per order requirements and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, sourcing, purchase, quality and logistics teams.
- Ensure timely procurement of fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging materials and other raw materials.
- Monitor production planning, capacity utilization and production targets.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved samples, specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor quality control at different stages of production and take corrective actions wherever required.
- Track order status from sampling to production and final dispatch.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers and job-work units.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure optimum utilization of materials.
- Monitor production costs, wastage, rejection and operational expenses.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and workplace requirements.
- Prepare regular MIS reports related to production, inventory, procurement, order status and operational performance.
- Work closely with management to achieve business and operational targets.
- Lead,



train and monitor operational teams and ensure accountability.
- Handle urgent production/order-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improving productivity, efficiency and profitability.

- Strong knowledge of fashion/apparel manufacturing and operations

- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, garments and fashion production processes
- Inventory and cost-control knowledge
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Positive communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments simultaneously

Educational Qualification

- Graduate in any relevant discipline.
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Textile, Apparel Production, Garment Manufacturing, Business Management or Operations will be preferred.

Experience

- 712 years of relevant experience in fashion, apparel, garment manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Candidates with experience in managing end-to-end operations and production teams will be preferred.

Reporting

Reports To: Director / Managing Director / Senior Management

The ideal candidate should be a proactive and commercially aware operations professional who can independently manage teams, production schedules, vendors and cross-functional coordination while ensuring quality, timely delivery and cost efficiency.
