Role & responsibilities

- Prepare and bake breads, buns, croissants and other bakery products.
- Prepare brownies, cookies, muffins, tea cakes, cupcakes and similar products.
- Prepare pastries, tarts, pies.
- Prepare cake sponges.
- Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in taste, texture, portion and presentation.
- Plan daily production according to orders and outlet requirements.
- Monitor ingredient usage and inform management of stock requirements.
- Ensure correct storage, labelling and handling of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
- Minimise production wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Assist in developing new bakery and pastry products.
- Coordinate with the cake decorating and outlet teams to ensure orders are completed on time.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/Certificate in Bakery, Pastry Arts, Hotel Management or relevant professional training preferred.




- 13 years of hands-on bakery or pastry experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical baking skills are welcome to apply.
- Good understanding of baking techniques, measurements, temperatures and ingredient functions.
- Experience in commercial bakery production will be an advantage.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain product consistency.
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple production requirements.
- Clean, disciplined, responsible and willing to work as part of a team.
- Passion for baking and willingness to learn and develop new products.
