Scientist / Technician Bone & Skin Tissue Banking

Location: Chennai

We are currently expanding our Bone & Skin Tissue Banking / Human Tissue Processing team and are looking to connect with professionals who have relevant, hands-on experience in human bone and/or skin tissue banking, burn care tissue handling, and regulated tissue processing environments.

Please note: This role is not intended for general laboratory experience or unrelated tissue handling backgrounds. We are specifically seeking candidates with direct exposure to human bone or skin tissue processing, tissue banking, burn centre workflows, or GMP-compliant tissue facilities.

1. Scientist – Bone Division

We are looking for scientists with direct and relevant experience in human bone or musculoskeletal tissue banking, including one or more of the following:

- Human bone allograft processing or bone bank operations
- Musculoskeletal tissue handling (bone, tendon, ligament, fascia, cartilage, meniscus)
- Tissue preservation, sterilization, and validated processing workflows
- Freeze-drying / lyophilization of human tissues
- Cleanroom-based GMP tissue processing environments
- Tissue quality control, sterility assurance, microbiology, endotoxin, or bioburden testing
- Validation, documentation, and regulatory compliance in tissue banking

2. Scientist – Skin Division

We are looking for scientists with direct experience in human skin tissue banking or burn centre–linked tissue processing, including:

- Human skin graft processing or skin bank operations




- Burn centre tissue handling or cadaveric skin processing exposure
- Acellular Dermal Matrix (ADM) or dermal substitute processing
- Decellularization or advanced tissue engineering workflows
- Tissue preservation, sterilization, and validated processing methods
- Cleanroom / GMP-controlled biological processing environments
- Sterility testing, microbiology, endotoxin, or bioburden analysis
- Quality systems, documentation, and validation in tissue banking

3. Technician / Senior Technician – Bone Division

We are seeking hands-on technicians with direct bone tissue banking experience, including:

- Human bone tissue receipt, dissection, cleaning, and processing
- Bone bank or musculoskeletal tissue facility operations
- Tissue cutting, shaping, preservation, packaging, and storage
- Freeze-drying / lyophilization support activities
- Sterilization coordination (including gamma irradiation workflows)
- Cleanroom aseptic processing of human tissues
- Tissue QC support and microbiology sample handling
- Batch records, traceability, and regulatory documentation
- Cold-chain management and tissue storage systems

4. Technician / Senior Technician – Skin Division

We are looking for hands-on technicians with direct skin tissue or burn centre experience, including:

- Human skin tissue receipt, preparation, and processing




- Skin bank or burn centre tissue handling experience
- Tissue cleaning, trimming, preservation, and packaging
- Aseptic handling in cleanroom environments
- Sterilization coordination and processing support
- Tissue QC support and microbiology sampling
- Documentation, traceability, and batch record maintenance
- Cold-chain storage and dispatch of human tissue products

General Eligibility (Strict)

Applicants should have relevant, direct exposure to at least one of the following:

- Human bone or skin tissue banking
- Burn centre tissue handling or cadaveric tissue processing
- Hospital-based tissue bank operations
- GMP / cleanroom-based human biological tissue processing
- Allograft or human tissue engineering facilities

Experience limited to general microbiology, routine laboratory work, animal tissue work, or unrelated biomedical roles will not be considered.

Location

- Chennai

- Candidates currently outside Chennai are welcome to apply, provided they are willing to relocate to Chennai

- Occasional travel may be required depending on the role
