Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant with solid expertise in Oracle Projects (PA), particularly Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Management.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of functional knowledge and technical expertise to independently troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, support integrations, develop/debug PL/SQL objects, and deliver enhancements in an Oracle EBS R12 AMS environment.

The consultant will work closely with Finance, Project Management, Delivery, and technical teams to ensure smooth project accounting, costing, billing, revenue, and financial integration processes.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle Projects (PA), including:
- Project Costing (PC)
- Project Billing (PB)
- Project Management (PM)

- Analyze and resolve complex production incidents related to project accounting, costing, billing, revenue, and project close processes.
- Configure and maintain Oracle Projects setups, including:

- Project Types
- Project Templates
- Task Structures
- Costing and Billing Rules
- Burden/Overhead Structures
- Rate Schedules
- Agreements
- Funding

- Support cost distribution, revenue generation, invoice generation, and project accounting processes.
- Troubleshoot cross-charge and inter-company project billing issues.
- Support project and period-close activities and resolve costing, revenue, and billing exceptions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Transaction Import, Cost Collector, expenditure batches, and unprocessed transactions.
- Support integration between Oracle Projects and:





- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Purchasing (PO)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Human Resources (HR)
- Oracle Time & Labor (OTL)

- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide appropriate functional solutions.
- Prepare functional design documents, test scenarios, test scripts, and support UAT activities.
- Support patches, enhancements, configuration changes, and production deployments.

Technical Responsibilities

- Develop, debug, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and SQL queries related to Oracle Projects.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues involving PA interfaces, custom programs, reports, and data flows.
- Support Oracle Projects interfaces, including Transaction Import, labor, expense, usage, and cost collection processes.
- Perform approved backend data fixes and data corrections for failed or stuck transactions.
- Develop and support BI Publisher/XML Publisher reports, including project, billing, invoice, and status reports.
- Support Oracle Workflow related to project, budget, approval, and billing processes.
- Work with Oracle EBS technical objects including Forms, Reports, AOL, interfaces, workflows, and extensions.
- Troubleshoot customizations and integrations impacting Oracle Projects.
- Prepare and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDD/MD-070) and other technical documentation.
- Work with DBA and infrastructure teams for patching, cloning, environment refreshes, and technical maintenance.
- Ensure technical solutions follow Oracle EBS development and change-management standards.
