Role & responsibilities

1. Technical Operations Management

- Oversee end-to-end operations of MEP services (Electrical, HVAC, DG sets, UPS, BMS, Fire & Life Safety, ELV, STP/ETP, Utilities).
- Ensure uptime, asset reliability, preventive & predictive maintenance adherence across all sites.
- Drive standardisation of SOPs, PM schedules, checklists, and technical documentation across verticals.
- Lead transition & HOTO activities for new projects, especially large and complex facilities such as airports and industrial sites.

2. Vertical & Client Management

- Act as the single point of escalation for key clients across Airports, Retail, IT & Industrial portfolios.
- Participate in client reviews, audits, joint inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Support Business Development and Transition teams with technical inputs, BOQ validation, site due diligence, and mobilisation plans.
- Ensure contractual compliance with SLAs, KPIs, statutory obligations, and scope adherence.

3. Team Leadership & Capability Building

- Lead Regional Technical Managers, Site Heads, SMEs, and OEM coordination teams.
- Drive performance management, technical training, skill upgradation, and succession planning.
- Build a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational discipline.
- Mentor site teams on troubleshooting, RCA, and continuous improvement.

4. Compliance, Safety & Statutory Adherence





- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including Electrical Safety, Fire NOCs, Lift Acts, Pollution Control norms, and local authority regulations.
- Drive HSE practices, safety audits, mock drills, and incident investigations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, airport authorities, OEMs, and statutory inspectors.

5. Financial & Cost Control

- Monitor OPEX, energy consumption, spares planning, and AMC/CMC contracts.
- Identify cost optimisation opportunities without compromising asset performance or safety.
- Support finance teams in budget preparation, variance analysis, and vendor negotiations.
- Review and approve technical procurement, spares strategy, and critical inventory levels.

6. Continuous Improvement & Digitisation

- Promote use of CMMS, BMS analytics, energy dashboards, and automation tools.
- Implement best practices, benchmarking, and innovation across portfolios.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for failures and implement preventive actions.
