About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our growing Quality Assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and ensuring software meets the highest standards of quality.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to validate new features, identify defects, and improve the overall quality of our software platforms. You ll gain hands-on experience testing websites, APIs, search systems, and large datasets while helping deliver reliable, scalable solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet with Software/Product designers to determine quality assurance parameters

- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaning feedback

- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools, and work with developers on unit testing

- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track issues

- Ensure thorough regression testing when issues are resolved

- Ensure quality of production releases through manual and automated testing solutions on multiple browsers, OS, and devices





- Test functionality, layout, responsiveness, and data accuracy across our websites, APIs, search systems, and datasets

- Data quality testing of our search engines and databases

- Gain a deep understanding of our websites, products, and business rules

- Take initiative to learn about the technology and systems

- Be creative, objectively providing alternatives and solutions to problems and projects

- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related subject or equivalent work experience

- Several years of software quality assurance experience

- Several years of experience working in large scale database testing OR high-traffic, e-commerce websites

- Hands on experience testing responsive websites on mobile and tablet devices

- Experience with testing automation tools and plugins, such as Selenium, NUnit, or Apiary

- Experience with SQL queries

- Programming experience in ASP.NET, C#, MVC, or JQuery is a huge plus

- Working knowledge in web technologies, such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, & HTTP/HTTPS

- Possess an extremely high attention to detail and quality
