Role :Senior DevOps & Middleware Platform Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior DevOps & Middleware Platform Engineer with robust experience in enterprise middleware, DevOps automation, CI/CD, container platforms, and production support.

The candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, administration, automation, security, monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and lifecycle management of middleware and DevOps platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Nginx/Apache, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Artifactory/Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and Shell scripting.

Key Responsibilities

Middleware Administration

- Install, configure, administer, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot enterprise middleware platforms.
- Manage Oracle WebLogic, Red Hat JBoss EAP, JBoss Core Services HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, and IIS.
- Configure middleware domains, clusters, virtual hosts, connectors, data sources, application pools, keystores, and trust stores.
- Support application deployments, configuration, integrations, and production issues.
- Configure reverse proxy, routing, redirects, load balancing, and traffic management.
- Troubleshoot application, middleware, connectivity, and runtime issues.





DevOps & CI/CD

- Design, maintain, and enhance enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines for application and middleware deployments.
- Integrate Jenkins with Git/Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory/Nexus, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and testing tools.
- Automate build, deployment, release, rollback, and environment-promotion processes.
- Implement deployment approvals, artifact traceability, validation, security controls, and audit logging.
- Develop reusable automation using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.

Kubernetes & Docker

- Support containerized application deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work with Kubernetes Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, storage, and health probes.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes pods, containers, networking, ingress, resource, and deployment issues.
- Support container image creation, scanning, publishing, and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
- Assist application teams with cloud-native adoption.

Automation

- Develop Ansible playbooks and automation modules for middleware provisioning and configuration.
- Automate patching, health checks, deployments, configuration changes, and operational activities.
