Job SummaryWe are looking for a Billing, Estimation & Contracts Engineer to handle estimation, quantity surveying, client billing, contractor billing, rate analysis, subcontractor finalization and commercial coordination for our construction projects.

The candidate should have good knowledge of civil construction, BOQ, quantities, rates, billing and contractor negotiations, along with robust MS Excel skills.

- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare BOQ, detailed estimates and quantity take-offs from drawings and project requirements.
- Prepare rate analysis for civil, structural, finishing and other construction works.
- Prepare client RA bills, measurement sheets and bill abstracts.
- Verify contractor and subcontractor bills against actual work executed at site.
- Check quantities, rates, deductions, retention, advances and recoveries.
- Obtain quotations from contractors, subcontractors and vendors.
- Prepare comparative statements and negotiate rates and commercial terms.
- Assist in contractor/subcontractor finalization based on rates, scope, capability, resources and past performance.
- Prepare and maintain Work Orders, Purchase Orders and subcontract agreements.
- Track BOQ quantities against actual executed and billed quantities.
- Identify extra items, variations and deviations and maintain proper records.
- Monitor project costs and highlight potential cost overruns.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers for measurements and verification of completed works.
- Prepare quantity and material reconciliation statements.
- Maintain contractor and vendor rate records.




- Coordinate with accounts for contractor/vendor bill processing and payments.
- Maintain billing and commercial records in ERP/software.
- Prepare regular billing, estimation and commercial reports for management.
- Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure timely billing and commercial closure.
- RequirementsDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction billing, estimation or quantity surveying.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, rate analysis and construction billing.
- Experience in contractor/subcontractor billing and finalization.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and construction ERP/software will be preferred.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Candidates with experience in residential, commercial, hospital, infrastructure or turnkey projects will be preferred.
