Job Title: CAD Drafter / Draftsman(Civil- Railway Bridges))

​Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter / Draftsman to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to convert technical concepts, rough sketches, and specifications into accurate 2D technical drawings and 3D models of Railway bridge drawings. You will play a crucial role in preparing construction, manufacturing, or engineering blueprints.

​Key Responsibilities

​Technical Drawing: Prepare detailed CAD drawings, layouts, schematics, and blueprints using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).

​Collaboration: Consult with engineers, architects, and project leaders to review draft designs and understand project specifications.

​Site Inspections & Measurements: Gather measurements, survey data, and dimensions on-site to incorporate into structural or architectural plans.

​Compliance & Standards: Ensure all technical drawings comply with company standards, building codes, local regulations, and industry safety guidelines.

​Revisions: Modify, update,



and maintain existing technical drawings based on changing project requirements or feedback from site engineers.

​Bill of Materials (BOM): Assist in preparing material specifications, quantity take-offs, and project cost estimates.

​Documentation & Archiving: Maintain an organized digital archive of all drawings, versions, and project documentation.

​Key Requirements & Qualifications

​Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.

​Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in drafting, technical illustration, or design assistance (entry-level roles may accept fresh graduates with strong portfolio projects).

​Software Proficiency:

​Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).

​Knowledge of Revit (BIM), SolidWorks, 3ds Max, or Tekla (depending on whether the specialization is Architectural, Civil, or Mechanical).

​Skills:

​Solid understanding of geometric dimensions, tolerances, and structural components.

​Spatial visualization skills and high attention to detail.

​Good communication and team collaboration abilities.

​Basic understanding of building codes or manufacturing processes.
