1. Greet the patient properly.

2. Should be able to carry out a complete Primary workup of patients.

3. Should be able to carry out refractive error correction and give prescriptions for spectacles.

4. Should carry out tests such as retinoscopy, perimetry, OCT, pachymetry, Topography, A-scan.

5. May specialize in areas such as low vision aid.

6. S, contact lens, cosmetic contact lens/BCL etc.

7. Should be able to assist in specialized procedures such as prosthetic shells.

8. Should participate in outdoor as well as indoor eye check-up camps.

9. Counselling to the patients regarding their treatment, packages, insurance, etc.
