Roles & Responsibilities

- Deliver hands-on training in Data Engineering, Python, SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and modern data platforms
- Teach ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing, data lakes, batch/stream processing, and data modeling
- Conduct live coding sessions, practical exercises, and doubt-clearing sessions
- Guide students through real-world Data Engineering projects, debugging, and optimization
- Develop training materials, assignments, and project-based assessments
- Mentor students and provide technical feedback to make them job-ready
- Stay current with evolving Data Engineering tools and industry practices

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, PySpark/Apache Spark, and Databricks
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP, and tools like Airflow, Kafka, Snowflake, Delta Lake, or dbt is a plus
- Industry background as a Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer / Big Data Engineer is preferred
- Prior training, teaching, or mentoring experience is an advantage (not mandatory)
- Robust communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Comfortable with live coding, project mentoring, and problem-solving with students
