Technical Coordination Engineer — Drawings, MEP, QS & Documentation

Salary: ₹45,000–₹50,000 per month gross, based on experience plus incentive and practical assessment

The roleWe are looking for a civil engineering qualified to manage drawing coordination, quantity checks and technical documentation across our residential and commercial projects.

Our architects and consultants issue drawings in AutoCAD. You must identify gaps and service clashes, prepare proposed coordinated drawings promptly, and obtain the relevant consultant’s written approval before issue for construction.

Key responsibilitiesDrawings and consultant coordination

- Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings for missing information and service clashes.
- Prepare coordinated AutoCAD drawings and proposed corrections for consultant approval.
- Track pending drawings, RFIs and approvals; report delays and unresolved issues by email.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure site teams use the latest approved revisions.
- Coordinate as-built drawings for project handover.

Quantity surveying, bills and methodology

- Extract and verify quantities; prepare measurement sheets and BOQs.
- Consolidate architectural, interior and MEP BOQs into one consistent format.
- Check contractor bills against measurements, agreed rates and approved variations.
- Update quantities and material requirements when drawings change.
- Review proposed work methods against drawings, specifications and site conditions; flag issues for consultant approval.
- Record measurement assumptions,



exclusions and discrepancies.

Site checks and records

- Visit sites to cross-check selected work against approved drawings and specifications.
- Record discrepancies with photographs and mark-ups, and track their closure.
- Verify that required consultant inspections and approvals are recorded before work is covered.
- Maintain drawings, approvals, inspection records and completion documents for handover and future reference.
- Required skillsDiploma, B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Excellent AutoCAD drafting skills and experience coordinating architectural and MEP drawings.
- Ability to identify service clashes and prepare proposed layouts for consultant review.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with quantities, BOQs and contractor bill checking.
- Practical knowledge of building construction, site checks and execution methods.
- Strong documentation, written communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to track technical work across multiple projects.

Revit experience is an advantage, but is not mandatory. Structural design and structural detailing are outside this role.

This position coordinates with project managers, site engineers and consultants, and reports design, quality, quantity and methodology discrepancies to management. Proposed changes require written approval from the responsible architect or consultant before issue for construction. The engineer is accountable for their own drawings, quantities, assigned checks and timely reporting.

Selection process shortlisted candidates will complete a practical exercise covering AutoCAD coordination, clash identification, a proposed correction, quantity and bill checking.
