- Record daily transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
- Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and management summaries.
- Ensure timely statutory and tax-related compliance, including GST, TDS, and other applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments when required.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
- RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and applicable tax regulations.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Preferred QualificationsCA/Inter, CMA, or equivalent accounting qualification is an advantage.
- Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
