The Problem You Will Solve

We built a large platform quickly. Now it has to run like a proper one. Today code reaches production by hand. There is no build pipeline, no test gate, no clean rollback. When something breaks at 2am, we usually hear it from a customer.

This is a rebuild of how we ship. Not a maintenance job.

What You Will Do

- Build CI/CD so code goes out tested, automatically, and rolls back in one step
- Monitoring and alerting that tells us before the customer does
- Fix scheduled jobs that run on more than one server and do the same work twice
- Make deployments boring — the same result every time, on every server
- Own backups and restores, and prove the restore works
- Harden Linux, nginx, systemd and process management
- Bring MySQL and MongoDB operations under control — migrations, schema changes, monitoring, connection limits
- Build the infrastructure side of our data retention and deletion rules, with the compliance manager

What we expect from you

- You automate anything done twice
- Your alerts are actionable. An alert nobody acts on is noise, and you own removing it
- A backup is not real until a restore has been done. We expect a restore drill,



not an assurance
- You leave no snowflake servers. Whatever you configure by hand ends up in a script or a document
- You measure before and after. Deploy time, failure rate, time to detect a problem. Bring numbers
- First 30 days: a complete inventory — every server, service, cron job and where each one actually runs
- First 90 days: a working pipeline, monitoring that alerts before customers do, and one tested restore
- Ongoing: you share the on-call rota, and you are the person who makes on-call quieter

What you must have

- 3+ years running production systems. 7+ and we are very interested
- CI/CD you built from scratch, not just used
- nginx, systemd, pm2 or equivalent process management
- Monitoring and alerting — Prometheus, Grafana or similar
- MySQL and MongoDB operations: backups, replication, migrations
- Bash and Python scripting, Git, Docker
- Bare metal and self-managed servers, not only managed cloud
