Job Title: Solidworks, CAD designer & Quality Control Assurance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control and Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our operations, particularly in the inspection, testing, and reporting processes related to industrial valves and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare internal inspection reports for ongoing and completed projects.
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
- Prepare SOLIDWORKS 3D Model
- Prepare Dimensional drawing and drafting.
- Read and interpret General Arrangement Drawings (GAD).
- Handle and oversee Radiography Testing (RT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) tests.
- Manage Raw Material Testing (chemical and mechanical), including handling the necessary certificates (LAB TC).
- Conduct Positive Material Identification (PMI) tests.
- Manage IBR (Indian Boiler Regulation) Test Certificates (TC) handling.
- Conduct hydrostatic testing for valves.
- Ensure proper handling of various inspection and testing processes.
- Maintain and calibrate instruments used in testing.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports and documentation.
- Conduct Third-Party Inspection (TPI)



as per the standards.
- Ensure adherence to specifications and safety guidelines for all inspections and tests.
- Perform any other tasks related to quality control and assurance as required.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in quality control and assurance, particularly with industrial valves.
- Robust knowledge of various types of industrial valves and their General Arrangement Drawings (GAD).
- Ability to read and interpret EIL (Engineers India Limited) valve specifications.
- Experience in handling various tests, including PMI, MPI, Radiography, Hydro tests, and more.
- Proficient in preparing detailed inspection and test reports.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for testing instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control and assurance, with a focus on valve inspection and testing.
