HR MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

About the RoleStudio 1 Interiors is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to manage complete HR operations across our showrooms, office, factory, and project/site teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in recruitment, employee management, attendance, payroll coordination, HR policies, performance management, and employee engagement.

- Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Recruitment & HiringManage end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
- Prepare job descriptions and publish vacancies on relevant hiring platforms.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, Instagram, employee referrals and other channels.
- Screen CVs and conduct initial HR interviews.
- Coordinate technical/final interviews with department heads.
- Manage offer letters, appointment letters and joining formalities.
- Maintain an active candidate database for future hiring requirements.
- 2. Employee ManagementMaintain complete employee records and HR documentation.
- Conduct employee onboarding and induction.
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality and leave.
- Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage employee separation procedures.
- 3. Attendance & Payroll CoordinationMaintain monthly attendance and leave records.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department for monthly payroll processing.
- Verify salary inputs, incentives, deductions, advances and overtime.
- Maintain records of salary revisions, increments and bonuses.
- Ensure salary-related employee queries are addressed promptly.

Performance ManagementEstablish and monitor employee KPIs in coordination with department heads.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Track employee productivity and performance.
- Coordinate probation confirmation, salary increments and promotions.
- Identify underperforming employees and coordinate improvement plans.
- 5. HR Policies & ProceduresDevelop and implement company HR policies.
- Ensure employees understand company rules and procedures.
- Maintain policies relating to attendance, leave, working hours, discipline and workplace conduct.
- Regularly update HR procedures according to business requirements.
- 6. Employee Engagement & RetentionImprove employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Organize employee meetings, celebrations and recognition programs.
- Identify employee retention issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Maintain positive communication between management and employees.
- 7. Statutory & Labour ComplianceMaintain proper employee documentation and statutory records.
- Coordinate with external consultants/accountants for applicable labour-law compliance.
- Support compliance relating to PF, ESI, professional tax, gratuity, bonus and other applicable requirements.
- Ensure required HR registers and records are properly maintained.

8. HR ReportingPrepare regular management reports covering:

- Headcount
- Current joinings
- Employee exits
- Attendance
- Leave
- Recruitment status




- Employee performance
- Salary/increment status
- Department-wise manpower requirements
- 9. Workforce PlanningUnderstand manpower requirements from Sales, Design, Factory, Projects, Accounts and Administration teams.
- Plan recruitment according to business growth.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels across company locations.
- Support management in organizational restructuring and manpower planning.
- Preferred Candidate ProfileBachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant HR experience.
- Experience in handling complete HR operations.
- Strong recruitment and employee-management skills.
- Good knowledge of payroll and attendance management.
- Knowledge of applicable labour and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and HR/payroll software.
- Experience in managing employees across multiple locations will be an advantage.

- Recruitment turnaround time
- Quality of new hires
- Employee retention
- Attendance and punctuality
- Payroll accuracy
- Employee documentation accuracy
- Performance review completion
- Employee grievance resolution
- HR compliance
- Overall workforce productivity
