Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer and Draftsman for our premium custom and modular furniture manufacturing facility and showroom. You will be responsible for creating visual 3D concepts for clients and translating approved designs into precise 2D manufacturing drafts for the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with walk-in showroom clients to understand their space, style, and modular furniture requirements.
- Create high-quality 3D renders and presentations (SketchUp, Lumion, etc.) to help clients visualize the final product and close sales.
- Draft highly accurate 2D production drawings in AutoCAD, including exact panel dimensions, joinery details, and cut-lists for the factory carpenters and machine operators.
- Act as the technical bridge between client expectations on the showroom floor and practical execution on the manufacturing floor.
Requirements (Please read carefully):
- Experience: 1 to 5 years specifically in modular or custom furniture design and production drafting.
- Software Mastery: Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and 3D modeling/rendering software (SketchUp, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of modular panel sizes, edge banding, hardware fittings, and manufacturing tolerances.
- Languages: Must speak fluent Gujarati and Hindi to coordinate smoothly with both local clients and factory workers.
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Strict 10-hour shift).
- Working Days: 6 days a week.
- Status: Full time only. No active students or part-time freelancers.
