PHARMACY STAFF – JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Pharmacy Staff / Medical Store Executive

1. Job ResponsibilitiesAttend customers professionally and provide medicines strictly as per valid prescriptions and applicable regulations.
2. Check medicine name, strength, quantity, batch number and expiry date before dispensing.
3. Maintain proper storage and arrangement of medicines and healthcare products.
4. Identify and separate expired, damaged and near-expiry medicines.
5. Handle billing, cash, UPI and card payments accurately.
6. Maintain daily sales and payment records.
7. Enter purchase, sales and stock information correctly in Marg ERP.
8. Receive incoming stock and verify quantity, batch, expiry and invoice details.
9. Monitor stock levels and inform the senior staff about fast-moving and low-stock products.
10. Handle customer queries politely and professionally.
11. Do not change, substitute or modify a doctor's prescription without proper authorization.
12. Maintain cleanliness and discipline inside the pharmacy/store.
13. Follow all company SOPs, pharmacy rules, drug regulations and applicable GST requirements.

Prevent unauthorized discounts, billing errors, stock manipulation and misuse of company property.
15. Coordinate with the pharmacist, store manager and other staff for smooth daily operations.

- Required Skills & QualificationsD.Pharm/B.Pharm or other qualification as applicable to the position.
- Previous pharmacy/medical-store experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of Marg ERP is preferred.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Honest, responsible and punctual.
- Ability to work in shifts and as part of a team.

- Keep the store and medicine shelves organized.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and prescription information.
- Follow the store's SOPs and instructions from authorized management.
- Immediately report any stock discrepancy, billing error, damaged product or other issue to the supervisor.
