ABOUT US

Kanhai Foods Limited is an Ahmedabad-based food manufacturer specialising in frozen and baked goods, including pav, burger buns, brioche buns and dough balls. We supply leading QSR chains and food brands across India.

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a Dispatch Manager to own end-to-end outbound logistics, from order release to on-time, temperature-compliant delivery. The role requires solid command of dispatch software, ERP and GPS tracking systems, and the ability to run a tight, well-documented dispatch operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Dispatch Planning & Execution

- Plan daily dispatch schedules based on orders, production output and client delivery windows

- Optimise routes and vehicle loading to reduce cost and meet delivery timelines

- Ensure FIFO/FEFO stock movement and correct product, quantity and batch dispatch

Cold Chain & Product Integrity

- Monitor vehicle temperatures before loading, in transit and at delivery for frozen products

- Ensure vehicle hygiene, proper loading practices and zero damage in transit

- Maintain temperature logs and escalate deviations immediately

Fleet, Driver & Transporter Management

- Manage the in-house fleet and coordinate with third-party transporters

- Track vehicles in real time using GPS systems and act on delays or route deviations

- Schedule vehicle maintenance, fitness, permits and insurance renewals

- Manage driver rosters, conduct and documentation

Documentation & Compliance

- Prepare and verify invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills and proof of delivery





- Maintain dispatch records in ERP to support client audits and food safety audits (FSSAI and customer standards)

- Ensure compliance with transport, GST and food safety requirements

Client Coordination

- Share dispatch updates and ETAs with clients and internal teams

- Handle delivery complaints, short supplies, returns and damages, and close them with root-cause action

Reporting & Cost Control

- Prepare daily and monthly MIS covering dispatches, on-time delivery %, freight cost, vehicle utilisation and exceptions

- Track and reduce freight cost per unit/kg

- Suggest and implement process and technology improvements

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

REQUIREMENTS

- Graduate in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, BBA, B.Com or related field (diploma or certification in logistics preferred)

- 2–3 years of experience in dispatch/logistics, preferably in food, FMCG, frozen or cold-chain operations

- Hands-on experience with dispatch software, ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar) and GPS/fleet tracking systems

- Tech-savvy; proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and comfortable learning new systems

- Working knowledge of e-way bills, GST documentation and transport regulations

- Strong coordination, problem-solving and people management skills

- Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi; working knowledge of English

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Official timing: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (timing may vary based on dispatch requirements)

- Night shifts required as per operational needs

- 4 weekly offs per month

- On-site role only; no remote or hybrid option
