The Role

We are looking for a Systems Engineering Intern to join our Latency Systems team and work on the high-performance technology that powers our trading operations.

You will work at the intersection of operating systems, networking, CPU architecture, and high-performance software,



contributing to real-time systems engineered for nanosecond-level latency. You will learn how to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize critical execution paths, and build reliable systems where every CPU cycle matters.

You will work closely with systems engineers, quantitative researchers, traders, and infrastructure teams while contributing across the systems engineering lifecycle:

Design → Development → Performance Engineering → Testing → Deployment → Optimization

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop components for real-time trade execution and risk management systems with stringent latency and reliability requirements.

• Profile critical execution paths to identify bottlenecks and improve system latency, throughput, and predictability.

• Optimize performance across CPU utilization, memory management, cache behavior, operating systems, and compiler-level execution.
