Job Description: (10 Years exp) - Act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for test automation initiatives. - Understand business, application, and testing requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions. - Assess existing automation landscapes and recommend improvements in terms of architecture, tools, processes, scalability, and maintainability. - Define automation approaches, roadmaps, implementation strategies, and best practices. - Conduct technical discussions, solution workshops, and proof-of-concepts for automation initiatives. - Evaluate and recommend appropriate automation tools, technologies, and frameworks based on project requirements. ?- Design and architect scalable, reusable, maintainable, and robust automation frameworks. - Lead the development and implementation of automation frameworks across UI, API, mobile, services, and other testing layers as applicable. - Define framework architecture, coding standards, design patterns, reusable components, and best practices. - Ensure automation frameworks are designed for easy integration with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines. - Drive framework modernization and continuous improvement initiatives. - Identify and resolve challenges related to framework performance, stability, scalability, and maintainability. ?- Provide technical direction and guidance to automation engineers and QA teams. - Guide teams on automation strategy, framework structure, design, development, coding practices, debugging,



and implementation. - Review automation architecture, technical designs, and code to ensure adherence to defined standards. - Act as the escalation point for complex automation and framework-related technical issues. - Mentor team members and help build strong automation engineering capabilities. - Support teams in making appropriate technical decisions and selecting the right approach for challenging automation scenarios. ?- Experience working on large-scale enterprise automation transformation initiatives. - Experience establishing or contributing to an Automation Center of Excellence (CoE). - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other modern DevOps technologies. - Experience with performance, security, accessibility, or other specialized testing areas. - Relevant testing, automation, Agile, or cloud certifications would be an advantage. - Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills. - Excellent consulting and stakeholder-management abilities. - Ability to understand complex problems and develop practical, scalable solutions. - Solid decision-making and architectural thinking. - Ability to influence teams and drive adoption of automation best practices. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work across multiple teams and projects and provide technical direction. - Strong ownership and continuous-improvement mindset.
