Drone Engineer Cloudtronics is looking for an experienced Drone Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and testing drone systems. Responsibilities Design drone airframes, components, and mounts in CAD Prototype and assemble drone parts and complete systems Integrate and test motors, ESCs, flight controllers, sensors, and power systems Configure, tune, and troubleshoot flight control software using ArduPilot and PX4 Carry out bench and flight testing, analyse flight logs, and improve designs Requirements Minimum 5 years of production workplace experience in the drone / UAV sector Hands-on experience designing and assembling drone parts CAD design skills (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) Working knowledge of ArduPilot and PX4 Experience with electronics integration, wiring, and soldering Creative, out-of-the-box approach to problem solving Desirable Valid drone pilot licence Familiarity with MAVLink, ROS, or companion computers such as Rpi, Nano. Minimum Qualification Aerospace/Mechatronics engineering degree required
