Role SummaryThe Sales Executive will be primarily responsible for generating and converting sales opportunities for commercial and industrial rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants — factories, hospitals, hotels, warehouses, educational institutions, and other high-consumption establishments. Residential leads may be handled as they arise, but the core focus of this role is commercial-scale business, from first customer contact through to signed agreement and handover. This is a target-driven, field-facing role suited to someone comfortable with consultative, higher-value B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities● Identify and pursue commercial and industrial solar opportunities — factories, hospitals, hotels, warehouses, commercial complexes, educational institutions, and similar high-load establishments — through direct outreach, referrals, and site prospecting.

● Conduct site visits to assess available roof/ground space, existing electrical load and consumption patterns, shading, and technical feasibility, in coordination with the technical team.

● Prepare and present commercial proposals and ROI/payback analysis, covering system sizing, project cost,



expected generation, and savings on electricity bills.

● Own the full sales cycle for commercial accounts — from initial enquiry and site assessment through proposal, negotiation, agreement signing, and advance collection.

● Coordinate with the net metering, CRM, procurement, and accounts teams to ensure smooth handoff of confirmed commercial orders and timely execution.

● Build and maintain relationships with facility managers, business owners, industry associations, and B2B channel contacts to generate a steady commercial pipeline.

● Maintain accurate lead and pipeline records in the CRM (Zoho CRM), updating stage-wise status regularly.

● Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for commercial order value and installed capacity.

● Stay current on commercial solar economics, net metering/open access rules, financing options, and competitor offerings across Odisha.

● Represent Pragati EcoSolar at industry events, trade associations, and B2B networking forums as needed.
