Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and effective Tally Data Operator to join our accounting team in Kolkata. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, entering daily business transactions into Tally, and supporting the finance department with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, a deep understanding of Tally Prime/ERP 9, and basic knowledge of local taxation like GST and TDS.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Entry: Input daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers into Tally.
- Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliation statements (BRS) to ensure accurate cash flow tracking.
- Invoicing: Generate, verify, and dispatch accurate sales invoices and delivery challans to clients.
- Taxation Assistance: Assist in preparing data for monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)



and tracking TDS deductions.
- Documentation: File and organize physical and digital copies of financial documents, bills, and receipts systematically.
- Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports, summary sheets, and outstanding payment lists for management review.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime, alongside working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience working as a Data Entry Operator or Accounts Executive.
- Language: Strong communication skills in Bengali and Hindi; basic proficiency in English.
- Attributes: High speed and accuracy in numerical data entry, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
