Operations Management

• Oversee daily field operations including production facilities, Terminal, tank Farm, pipelines, and processing units to ensure continuous and efficient output.

• Monitor production performance against targets and implement corrective actions for deviations.

• Coordinate with production engineers on well performance, flow assurance, optimization and Maintenance

• Ensure smooth start-up, shutdown, and turnaround activities.

Maintenance Management

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation assets.

• Manage maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and equipment reliability programs to minimize downtime.

• Oversee maintenance of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines), static equipment (vessels, tanks, piping), electrical systems, and civil structures.

• Coordinate shutdown/turnaround planning and execution with minimal production loss.

HSE & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements (environmental, safety, occupational health).

• Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.

• Promote a strong safety culture across operations and maintenance teams.

Team & Resource Management

• Lead, supervise, and mentor operations and maintenance teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.

• Plan manpower, tools, and equipment resources for field activities.





• Manage vendor/contractor performance for outsourced maintenance and repair work.

Budget & Reporting

• Prepare and manage O&M; budgets, cost control, and expenditure tracking.

• Provide regular reports to senior management on production, maintenance KPIs, downtime analysis, and improvement initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and reduce operational costs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in operations and maintenance roles, with prior experience specifically in the oil & gas industry (upstream/midstream/downstream field operations).

• Sound knowledge of oil & gas production processes, equipment, and maintenance practices.

• Familiarity with HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and international codes/standards (API, ASME, IEC as applicable).

• Experience with CMMS/maintenance management systems preferred.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Robust leadership and team management abilities.

• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills for equipment and process issues.

• Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams and contractors.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

• Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to SAP/CMMS tools is a plus.

Willingness to work in remote field locations and rotational shifts, as required
