Role Overview

G Abhishek and Associates, a Chartered Accountancy firm, is looking for an experienced accountant with complete accounting knowledge and hands-on expertise in Tally Prime/ERP. The candidate will be responsible for independently managing client books of accounts, handling statutory compliances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Record day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime/ERP (purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers)
- Maintain complete books of accounts and carry out monthly/quarterly finalization
- Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and party account reconciliation
- Compute and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns)
- Calculate and deduct TDS, and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q)
- Handle accounting for multiple clients simultaneously (as required in a CA firm setup)
- Prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, and Balance Sheet




- Maintain inventory and stock records in Tally
- Process payroll and related accounting entries
- Prepare schedules and documents required for audits, and provide support to auditors
- Follow up on and reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA (preferred, not mandatory)
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime/ERP 9 (minimum 2–5 years)
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax provisions
- Good command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
- Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills for client coordination

Preferred (Positive to Have)

- Prior experience working in a CA firm or accounting/audit firm
- Experience handling multiple clients/companies simultaneously
- Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bill generation
