Position: Senior Factory Floor In-charge & Testing Engineer

Qualification: B.Tech or B.E. or Diploma ITI – Electrical or Electronics

Experience: 8–15 years preferred

Salary: Depending on experience and capability, industry standard

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on senior technical person who can take ownership of our

factory floor as well as the final testing and quality of every Servo Stabilizer leaving the

factory.

This is a key role in a family-run manufacturing company where product quality, reliability

and getting the job right are more important than simply getting production out of the

door.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on the shop floor, allocating work to

technicians, monitoring production, solving technical problems and personally taking

ownership of the final testing of finished products.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Floor & Production

• Manage day-to-day activities on the manufacturing floor.

• Allocate work across technicians and workers and ensure production targets are

achieved.

• Monitor progress of manufacturing and assembly and identify bottlenecks early.

• Plan production activities for the coming days based on orders and business

requirements.

• Coordinate availability and consumption of raw materials and components.

• Ensure work is completed correctly and on time, rather than compromising quality

for speed.

• Maintain discipline, housekeeping and safe working practices on the shop floor.

• Work closely with the owner/family management on production priorities and

issues.

Final Testing & Quality – Critical Responsibility

• Take ownership of the final testing and quality verification of Servo Stabilizers

before dispatch.

• Perform functional,



electrical and performance testing of completed Servo

Stabilizers.

• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic and wiring-related problems.

• Identify root causes of failures and ensure corrective action is taken.

• Verify that products meet required specifications and quality standards.

• Ensure no unit leaves the factory without completing the required testing and

quality checks.

• Maintain testing records and communicate major issues to management.

Hands-on Technical Work

• Read and understand electrical/electronic circuit and wiring diagrams.

• Work with electrical and electronic components used in Servo Stabilizers.

• Use instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers and other

electrical testing equipment.

• Support technicians on difficult technical problems and become the go-to

technical person on the factory floor.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong practical understanding of Electrical / Electronics.

• Hands-on experience with Servo Stabilizers is highly preferred.

• Experience in electrical/electronic manufacturing, production, testing or panel

manufacturing.

• Previous experience managing technicians/workers on a factory floor.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to read electrical and electronic wiring diagrams.

• Positive understanding of testing procedures and electrical safety.

• Someone who is comfortable working with his own hands when required, not just

supervising others.

• Good communication and ability to coordinate with workers and management.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal person is someone who has grown through the shop floor, understands how

Servo Stabilizers are manufactured and tested, knows how to get work done through a

small team, and has the technical confidence to say:

“If there is a problem with this unit, I will find it and fix it before it leaves the factory.”
