We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, particularly in the areas of GST, TDS, and other government compliances. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy and efficiency of all financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial health.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **GST Compliance:**

- Manage and oversee the full GST process, including the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.

- Ensure accurate and timely payment of GST liabilities.

- Handle GST audits and assessments and liaise with government authorities as required.

- Stay updated with the latest GST rules and amendments, ensuring the organization’s compliance.

- **TDS Compliance:**

- Ensure accurate deduction of TDS and timely filing of TDS returns.

- Manage TDS payments and generate TDS certificates.

- Handle TDS assessments and notices, coordinating with tax authorities as necessary.

- Stay current with changes in TDS regulations and ensure compliance.

- **Government Compliances:**

- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including income tax, professional tax, PF, and ESI.

- Prepare and submit various statutory returns and documents within deadlines.

- Handle internal and external audits related to government compliances.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all government filings and payments.

- **Accounting & Financial Reporting:**

- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements,



and cash flow statements.

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

- Monitor and manage cash flows, including the preparation of cash flow statements.

- **Taxation:**

- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance and filings.

- Assist in tax planning and optimization strategies.

- Coordinate with external tax consultants for tax audits and assessments.

- **Audit Support:**

- Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring the availability of necessary documents and information.

- Implement audit recommendations and improve financial processes.

- **Team Leadership:**

- Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and support in daily tasks.

- Review the work of the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on GST, TDS, and government compliances.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations, particularly GST and TDS.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally & Busy ) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
