WE’RE HIRING: SENIOR RETAIL SALES EXECUTIVE

Sleepmax Mattresses | Thane West

We are looking for an experienced retail salesperson who can confidently handle customers, overcome objections, and close sales. Your primary responsibility will be to improve walk-in conversion and achieve the showroom’s sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of converting showroom walk-ins and enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Understand customer needs, comfort preferences, and budget to recommend suitable mattresses.
- Conduct convincing product demonstrations and explain product value.
- Handle price comparisons, discount requests, and objections confidently.
- Follow up consistently with undecided customers through calls and WhatsApp, agreeing on a clear next step.
- Involve family members or other decision-makers in the buying discussion when required.
- Track enquiries, pending quotations, next follow-up dates, and reasons for lost sales.
- Achieve monthly sales, conversion, and average order value targets.
- Coordinate billing, delivery, and after-sales support to ensure a smooth customer experience.




- Maintain showroom presentation and accurate stock records.

Candidate Requirements

- 4–6 years of retail sales experience, preferably in mattresses, furniture, home furnishings, appliances, or other products requiring detailed demonstrations.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and converting walk-ins.
- Strong objection-handling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to close sales independently.
- Valuable communication in Hindi and Marathi; working knowledge of English.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, CRM systems, and WhatsApp.
- Willingness to work weekends with a scheduled weekly off.

Performance will be measured on: Walk-in conversion, monthly sales, follow-up conversions, and average order value.

Location: Chitalsar, Ghodbunder Road, Manpada, Thane West.

Candidates should be ready to discuss their previous sales targets, achievements, and examples of handling difficult sales situations.
