Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to drive sales growth, distribution expansion, and market execution across the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in FMCG General Trade (GT) Sales, distributor management, retail execution, team handling, and achieving primary and secondary sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Drive distribution expansion by improving numeric and weighted distribution.
- Ensure strong product visibility and availability across the market.
- Manage and lead the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
- Manage distributor operations, stock availability, and market execution.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and effective management of outstanding balances.
- Monitor and implement sales processes, field reporting, and MIS systems.
- Prepare sales forecasts and minimize gaps between targets and actual performance.
- Plan and execute BTL activities, promotions, and sampling initiatives.
- Monitor retail execution and ensure effective implementation of promotional activities.
- Handle stock management, claims, manpower planning, and overall territory operations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and distribution operations.
- Analyze sales data and prepare performanc
