About the Role
ACI Worldwide is seeking a Sr IT Security Engineer to help design, build, and operate security capabilities that protect our cloud platforms, applications, AI-enabled solutions, and enterprise infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering role that combines cloud security, security operations, incident response, automation, and continuous security improvement.
You will work closely with engineering, cloud, platform, AI/ML,



and operations teams to implement scalable security controls, strengthen detection and response capabilities, and support compliance and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls across AWS and Azure environments.
- Build and enhance security operations capabilities, including SIEM/SOAR, detection engineering, alert triage, and incident response workflows.
- Support security investigations, incident response, and post-incident remediation activities.
- Improve identity and access management, encryption, logging, vulnerability management, and platform hardening controls.
- Develop automation, security tooling, standards, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed secure-by-design practices across applications, cloud services, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting security incidents and escalations.
