Store Manager – AFC Store, Bargarh

Job Summary

AFC Store is looking for a responsible and experienced Store Manager to independently manage the daily operations of its Bargarh store. The candidate must be capable of managing employees, delegating work, handling customers, controlling inventory and improving store sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete day-to-day store operations.
- Allocate work to sales, billing and support staff.
- Ensure correct billing and entries in the Vyapar software.
- Monitor daily sales, enquiries, quotations and customer follow-ups.
- Ensure products have correct price stickers and barcodes.
- Control discounts and selling prices according to company policy.
- Maintain stock accuracy and arrange timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Maintain proper product displays and store cleanliness.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline and performance.
- Submit daily sales, cash, stock and activity reports to management.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, accounts team, suppliers and management.
- Train employees on products, billing and customer handling.
- Work towards achieving the store’s monthly sales targets.





Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or store management.
- Experience in construction materials, hardware, sanitaryware, electrical, plywood, paints or building materials will be preferred.
- Comfortable using billing and inventory software; Vyapar experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, delegation and customer-handling ability.
- Basic knowledge of stock control, pricing and cash management.
- Must be honest, disciplined, organised and accountable.
- Should be able to operate the store without depending on the owner for routine decisions.

Education

Graduate preferred. Experienced candidates with solid practical store-management skills may also apply.

Working Hours

As per AFC Store timings. Weekly off will be provided according to the duty schedule.
