Job Title : Engineer II - Quality Assurance

Job Summary :
As a: Engineer II - Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for fully testing the product or system to ensure it functions properly and meets the business needs. The role will involve creating, executing and automating test cases, recording the test results, and providing recommendations to improve software programs based on the results.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Create and execute automated test scripts using Soap UI tool or Ready API
- Design, development and execution of Test Cases, Test Scenarios & Test Plans
- Writing and executing GUI and non-GUI, Functional, Regression, Security, and Performance related test cases
- Execute the various performance tests including Load test, stress test, endurance test, capacity test
- Capture and analyze performance test metrics
- Participate in troubleshooting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause Identification and resolution




- Analyse the functional and non-functional requirements and designs Test Scenarios and Test cases-
- Coordinating testing activities with Development Team
- Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.)

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

- Problem-solving and valuable analytical skills
- Prior testing experience
- Experience in API testing (using SOAP UI / Postman)
- Have programming language experience: C#/Java, Groovy etc
- Good knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Good foundation and practical exp with XML-based system interfaces and XML based tools are preferred.
- Experience in testing related to airline reservations systems or Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or other travel industry experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, or information technology.
